My Wallet Has Been Stolen! | Travel Insurance Direct (TID)
Unfortunately, with plenty of pick-pockets operating around airports, hotels and common tourist areas, this happens all too frequently.
Having lost cash, bank cards and your mobile phone too, you can suddenly and unexpectedly find yourself with no accommodation or anything to eat.
You need to:
- Immediately report the loss of your wallet to the local police, transport provider, hotel, tour guide or other authority, and get a report
- Contact our Emergency Assistance team
- Provide us with contact details of family or friends who can advance you some funds.
We are unable to advance you any cash directly, although we can facilitate this on your behalf.
This is a brief summary of cover only and does not include the full terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions. Read the PDS before purchasing.
