Getting a Travel Insurance Quote

To get a quote, go to, and on the quote panel please list all the countries you are travelling to, excluding any stopovers of up to 2 nights. You can type the country or select it from the drop down list. If your plans aren’t finalised and you don’t know every country you’re going to, ensure you list the countries you know you will be travelling to. If you're cruising around Australia, select 'Australian waters'; we've added other options for cruisers, too. Then add your travel dates and the ages of the adults travelling on your policy. Then click on ‘Get a Quote’ and your price will be displayed on the next page.

To get a quote, you don’t need to add the ages of your children as they are automatically covered under your policy if they are under 21, not in full time employment and travelling with you on the majority of the trip. You do need to add them on the ‘Personal Details’ page when you’re ready to purchase.

If you need to add any high value items, choose your policy excess, select cover for ski/snow sports, increase your rental vehicle insurance excess, you can do that next. You will also have the opportunity to give back to one of the projects we support; just select an amount to donate.
After this stage, you'll be asked if you have any existing Medical Conditions. If you select 'Yes', you will be directed through our pre-existing medical condition process. This is where you can see if the condition you have is automatically covered,  not covered or if an additional premium is required to cover the condition. If you don't have any medical conditions to declare just select 'No' and continue.

Full terms, conditions and exclusions are available in the PDS.
