Returning early

If you need to cut your trip short for any reason, we can cancel the remainder of your policy but there is no refund. This condition is detailed in our Product Disclosure Statement on page 41. 

Cooling-off period:

‘You have up to 14 days from the time you are issued your Certificate of Insurance to decide if the cover is right for you. This is called your cooling-off period. If you decide that you don’t want this policy, you may cancel it within the cooling-off period. You will receive a full refund of the premium you paid, provided:
a)     you haven’t started your trip;
b)     you haven’t made a claim; and
c)     you don’t want to make a claim or exercise any other right under the policy.

You can also cancel your policy at any other time, but we will not refund any part of your premium.’ You can cancel your policy during the cooling-off period by contacting TID or visiting tid.com.au.’
