One way return

Hi we have been in the uk for three months and purchased one way insurance to get here we are now returning home but can we still get our return flight insurance through TID? If so do I put out departure date from when we leave the uk?

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    Yes we do. Unlike other insurers, you do not need to be commencing or returning to Australia in order to purchase our insurance.

    When purchasing a policy, simply enter the date you want the policy to commence in the ‘when are you leaving’ option and the date you want the policy to end in the ‘when are you returning’ option.

    Please be aware however, that as per the policy wording, in the event of a claim which requires your return to Australia, if you do not have a return ticket at the time of the event that causes you to return to Australia, we will deduct the cost of an economy class airfare at the carrier’s regular published rates for the return Trip. Where possible, we will use your return ticket if this reduces our costs.
