My travel to South Africa in Sept. 2016 - 29 days

At the time of our travel to South Africa my mum will be 98 years and should anything unforeseen happen to my mum just prior to our leaving or while my husband and I are on our trip, does your insurance provide cover in the event this happens. Please note that there are no pre-existing medical conditions

    Hi Vyvette,

Thanks for getting in touch with us and hopefully nothing happens to your mum.

Our policy provides cover for trip interruption such as having to return home (suddenly) due to a close relative becoming ill, injured or passes away. You can take a look at our online article for more information about the cover by clicking here. The cover applies to you and your travelling party. Should you need to claim for expenses incurred, we ask that you provide a medical certificate for your mum as well as confirmation that she does not have any pre-existing medical conditions by getting her usual GP to complete a section of the claim form.

The above benefit is unlimited (less the standard excess of $100 applicable per claimable event), see here for a brief overview of all the benefits our policy provides.

I hope this has helped and if there’s anything else please let me know.

    Best Wishes,
